Pemmican (crew) in 12 lb. tins in 1 lb. cakes. (about 6' x 4' x 1 1/2' same size as present tins)
Special design for oil & alcohol tins. Aluminum tea machines & small lampstove funnels & pails.
Fawn skin co "Peary" coat lined with red flannel, trimmed with bearskin & fox tails.
"Swan skin" ditto.
Sheepskin coat (wool in side) covered with green or figured cloth & trimmed as above.

A fine day. Clear, brilliant sunlight, calm. (faint movement of air from north, cold, (in the - 40s)
I left camp 4.-a.m. Arrived Captain's camp 11 a.m. Found Henson & party there  & one of Captain's men with broken sledge.
Got them all off.
Marvin made sounding (700 fath. no bottom) & lost 2 pickaxes & half his wire.
